In Viadescioism, there is a concept known as “The Awakened and The Sleeping.” This idea explores the dual states of being within the practice.

The Awakened are those who actively seek knowledge, wisdom, and a deeper understanding of existence and the divine. They strive for spiritual enlightenment and often engage in practices that lead to self-discovery and connection with the greater existence.

The Sleeping, on the other hand, live within their roles in the material world, experiencing life without necessarily seeking deeper truths. They represent the natural state of being focused on the everyday experiences of life.

These two states are seen as complementary rather than oppositional. Every individual can move between these states at different times in their life. The process of awakening is often gradual, sparked by significant experiences or interactions with esoteric knowledge. Once awakened, it becomes challenging to return to the state of being asleep, as the awareness gained is hard to ignore.
