Xafa Iba Ta | Focal Meditation
Focal Meditation, or Xafa Iba Ta, is a practice within Viadescioism that encourages deep connection and understanding of various aspects of existence, whether they be objects, ideas, people, or situations. This meditation is similar to Xafa Iba Sa (Void Meditation) in that it enhances willpower, control, focus, and intent. However, it specifically aims to provide insights into a chosen subject through prolonged focused attention, facilitating a spiritual and intellectual bond with the subject.
Steps for Xafa Iba Ta:
Selection of a Subject:
Choose a focus for your Xafa (meditation). This can be any element that you wish to understand more deeply, such as a natural object, a personal challenge, or an abstract concept. A common starting point could be a candle flame, which is often used due to its dynamic yet steady nature.
Preparation:
Find a quiet and comfortable space where you will not be disturbed. Ensure you are dressed comfortably. Sit or lie down based on what is most comfortable for you. Begin by centering and grounding yourself. Protect your space through a protective means aligned with Viadescioic practices, setting a sacred boundary for your Xafa (meditation).
Engagement with the Subject:
You may choose to close your eyes or keep them open if focusing on a physical object.Visualize or contemplate your chosen subject intensely. If it is a concept or idea, visualize its impacts, implications, and associations.Embrace and connect with the subject, integrating it into your consciousness. Allow yourself to explore it from various angles and perspectives, enriching your understanding.Consider the subject’s influence on your life and its broader spiritual significance. Reflect on your feelings and thoughts about it, recognizing that knowledge empowers you.
Conclusion:
Gradually return your focus to the wider world. Open your eyes if they were closed. Release any protective measures you have set up. Reflect briefly on any new insights or feelings that arose during the meditation.
